Winston LT

It's always a nice surprise to be able to build some of these classic beauties.

Winston is famous for their timeless IM6/WT graphite rods that are no longer being produced. I am a big fan of their older IM6 (before they changed them into WT's) and some WT models and don't think I will see another blank unless Winston decides to bring them back.

The LT is another smoothie that came in five pieces. It was the standard rod for backpackers back in the day. Still holds up fine to this day. I have a few folks that love them much.

Here is a 6'9" 3wt. Winston LT build I finished up recently (a couple more are coming soon). Each Winston blank comes with a serial number wich is neat.

This rod is all about the beauty and joy a fly rod can provide to an angler. Perfection in every way.

I hope you'll enjoy the photos of it. Thanks for looking.
